If at first you don’t succeed…
Today was one of those days where I spent more time undoing mistakes than anything else! I’ve been working on Tom’s waistcoat for our wedding and eventually managed to get it put together after forgetting to leave an opening to turn it inside out and forgetting to sew the neck together (only realising having turned it the right way round). So now I’ve written a reminder on the pattern because this is the second time I’ve forgotten about the neck!
I’ve also started work on the buttons – you can see a sneaky peek in the first photo – I’ll be doing another post about them when they’re finished.
At the end of a long day, Tom tried his waistcoat on. It was the first time I’d seen one of them on an actual person, and I was so relieved that it fits and that they look better than I thought – I couldn’t stop crying I was so pleased! I can’t wait to see all the guys wearing them on the day 🙂
