British pie week
Did you know that it’s British pie week this week?! You know me, I love a good pie 🙂 And it made me think that I have shared quite a few pie recipes on here so far, and I thought I’d put them all together in one post in case you fancy celebrating and enjoying a pie this week!
Our long-time favourite pie is Jamie Oliver’s chicken pie (click here) – it’s brilliant! The main photo on this post is of this pie. I’ve made it so many times now that I can pretty much make it from memory, and it turns out amazing every time. Definitely a winner!
Venison makes a wonderful pie – especially with ale! Click here for the recipe.
Our most recent pie recipe was this amazing Boeuf Bourguignon pie – it takes a while to make but is definitely worth it. Click here for the recipe.
Now, I’m not forgetting my veggie friends – how about this delicious courgette filo pie? Click here for the recipe.
And for dessert (if you have any room left!) – maybe a slice of Mississippi mud pie? Such an indulgent treat! Click here for the recipe.
British pie week runs from 2nd – 8th March. There’s a lot happening on the old tinternet about it so you can’t miss it – but check out the official site for more details. Enjoy!
