Accessibility

I am committed to making Hello! Hooray! Studio as accessible as possible. Wheelchair access will be via the workshop room, using a ramp up the step. If you need to reserve a parking space before a workshop, please contact me and this can be arranged.

The toilets are located on the first floor of the building, but there are accessible toilets at the Lemington Centre (on the opposite corner at the bottom of Union Hall Road).

Please note that no dogs are allowed on the premises, except for guide dogs.

Hello! Hooray! Studio is a breastfeeding friendly venue. High chairs and baby change facilities are available for parents attending a workshop.

How to get here

Hello! Hooray! Studio is situated at 16 Tyne View, Lemington, Newcastle upon Tyne NE15 8RA.

Please note that sat navs can often take you slightly further down Tyne View than is necessary! The studio is on the corner directly opposite The Lemington Centre at the bottom of Union Hall Road.

By public transport

There are direct bus links to the studio on Stagecoach routes 22 and 6/7/8. Route 22 comes directly from Newcastle city centre every 10 minutes, and passes outside Central Station. Route 6/7/8 comes from the Metrocentre or Four Lane Ends.

Ask for the stop outside the Lemington Centre when travelling on any of these routes (in either direction).

You can also travel from the town centre on Stagecoach route 39, getting off at the Kirkston Avenue-Union Hall Road stop. From there, there is a 5-minute walk down Union Hall Road (which is downhill) to the studio.

Stagecoach bus timetables can be downloaded here.

By car

The studio is a few minutes drive from the A1. Come off the A1 at junction 75 onto the A69, following the signs to Hexham.

After 700yds, take the B6528 exit for Lemington and then the first exit at the top of the slip road onto Union Hall Road.

Continue to the bottom of Union Hall Road, through three mini roundabouts, and Hello! Hooray! is on the corner on your right.

Parking

There is off street parking in front of the studio, which is allocated on a first come, first served basis (unless specifically reserved in advance for a wheelchair user attending a workshop - please note that any cars parked are done so at your own risk). There is also plenty of parking available on Tyne View.
