Hey Tobia! Oh great - I&#039;ll have to check out your lemonade party on your blog :-) Yes, cordial must be the British word for syrup (I never actually worked that out until you mentioned it!). It&#039;s not actually alcohol, it&#039;s a soft drink that you can mix with water or another mixer. It seems to be the in thing to make your own this year - loads of people are doing it! That used to be not childhood summer drink. Even though it&#039;s not my fave anymore it got me started on all sorts of homemade lemonade. It&#039;s even a series on my blog (lemonade party). 
One question is cordial just a different (British) word for syrup? I&#039;ve never heard of it and translations say it&#039;s like liquor but there&#039;s no alcohol...
