Hey Tobia! Oh great – I’ll have to check out your lemonade party on your blog 🙂 Yes, cordial must be the British word for syrup (I never actually worked that out until you mentioned it!). It’s not actually alcohol, it’s a soft drink that you can mix with water or another mixer. It seems to be the in thing to make your own this year – loads of people are doing it! That used to be not childhood summer drink. Even though it’s not my fave anymore it got me started on all sorts of homemade lemonade. It’s even a series on my blog (lemonade party).
One question is cordial just a different (British) word for syrup? I’ve never heard of it and translations say it’s like liquor but there’s no alcohol…
