Happy New Year to you all! It’s that time of year when people think about new starts and resolutions. I don’t make resolutions because I never manage to stick to them, and then I beat myself up about it a bit too much. So instead, I try to make plans and set a few goals – that way I’m more relaxed about the whole thing! Last year I said that I would write more letters (I managed a few), cook at least 2 new recipes every month (which I managed – often more than 2!) and that I’d look after my garden more (this didn’t happen – oops!).

This year, my main aim is to learn to crochet. I would also like to learn how to make my own stamps, and to make my first quilt. So just a few things – haha!

The picture on this post is something that I’m working on at the moment, but it’s top secret! I’m dying to share it with you but I’ll have to keep it to myself for a little while longer! Look out for a post or two soon though…
