The Trust the Process hand embroidery kit is one of my newest designs, that I launched after sharing progress photos over on Instagram. This phrase seems to have resonated with a lot of people and I have loved seeing it being stitched! I designed it as a reminder to trust the process as a creative, and the combination of the positive words with the bright and fun design is a joy to stitch.
Can I stitch this if I’m a beginner?
Absolutely! You only need to know a few stitches for this project, which are backstitch/whipped backstitch, satin stitch, straight stitch and stem stitch. The very detailed step-by-step instructions include full colour photos, so you’ll learn how to do it in no time! I also have video tutorials for all of the stitches on IGTV and YouTube. The design is pre-printed onto cotton fabric in full colour so there’s no need to worry about transferring it yourself, and the number for each colour of thread is indicated in the pdf pattern booklet. Whether you’re new to hand embroidery or have had more experience, you’ll love stitching this project!

- 18cm (7”) beech wood embroidery hoop to display your project in (hand painted in a bright teal water-based paint)
