Rainbow Angel digital pattern
The digital pattern of this fun design is now available – contains everything you need to know to get stitching!
The Rainbow Angel digital pattern is now available to purchase from my website – yay! This listing is for the pdf pattern for my colourful design of the Angel of the North (which is available here as a kit). You’ll love stitching this colourful version of this iconic Northern landmark. This pdf pattern booklet also comes with optional text ‘It’s Grim Up North’ which isn’t included in the kit version. Although anyone who lives here knows it isn’t so grim up North!
Can I stitch this if I’m a beginner?
Absolutely! You only need to know one stitch for this project, which is backstitch. If you’re new to embroidery, there are stitch tutorial videos to help on my Instagram account to help you too. The very detailed step-by-step instructions include full colour photos, so you’ll learn how to do it in no time! The thread numbers for each colour are indicated in the pdf pattern booklet, and the templates are included. You will need to transfer the design onto fabric, so you could purchase a kit of this design here if you prefer not to have to do that. I also have lots of marking products, thread and fabric in my haberdashery if you need them. Whether you’re new to hand embroidery or have had more experience, you’ll love stitching this project!
Downloading the Rainbow Angel digital pattern
