In person workshops at Flaura Rose
Give the gift of creativity with an in person workshop from Hello! Hooray! It’s wonderful to start the New Year with something in the calendar to look forward to.
I’m really excited to be teaching in person workshops at Flaura Rose in Ouseburn in 2025! I absolutely love this colourful shop, and I can’t wait to welcome you there for these workshops. Hand embroidery is a beautiful, slow craft that’s really great for being mindful and finding calm. You don’t need any prior experience, and in this workshop I’ll teach you some of the basic stitches that you need to get started. Plus we can have a good chat while we stitch!
What is included?
Each in person workshop lasts for 2 hours. We’ll cover all of the stitches that you need to complete your project, and you’ll receive all supplies plus expert tuition from me, Clare Albans. As places are limited to 12, you’ll have the chance to ask any questions and we can make sure you get some 1-1 tuition within the workshop too.
All supplies are of the highest quality, and include: a 6″ beech wood embroidery hoop, pre-printed cotton fabric featuring the design (which is to be stitched over), DMC thread, a needle, printed stitch and colour guide, plus a 60mm sticker. You’ll also receive a link to download the full pdf instructions at home.

Please note that the workshop space at Flaura Rose is only accessible via a staircase.
You are welcome to bring your own drinks, or purchase coffee/tea from Flaura Rose during the workshop. I will provide water and some sweet treats – please let me know if you have any dietary requirements.
