Brighter Days Are Coming kit

The first kit to accompany The Happy Stitch Project is here! The Brighter Days Are Coming kit will help you to get creative and experiment with using different stitches. It is available in two different fabric options because it’s what I like to call a ‘flexi-kit’. The black and white option is perfect if you want to stitch in block colour using a satin stitch or other filling stitch (shown in the main photo with satin stitch). The full colour fabric allows you to add decorative stitches to the sun motif to really make it your own! See additional photo for some ideas of how this works. You can also mix and match the colours to suit you, as full skeins are provided in the kit. Stitch the text in coral or black, or leave it unstitched if you prefer. Can I stitch this if I’m a beginner?
Absolutely! The stitches used in this design are all part of The Happy Stitch Project, so you’ll be able to refer to the video tutorials to be able to complete them. Yay! You’ll receive a PDF booklet too (sent via We Transfer – see below) and will have links to all the tutorials on YouTube. You’ll enjoy stitching this positive design as a more experienced stitcher too!
What’s included in a Brighter Days Are Coming kit?
All Hello! Hooray! kits include the highest quality materials, and this kit includes the following:
- Pre-printed quality cotton fabric, in either black and white or full colour
- 5 full skeins of DMC embroidery thread – two of 307 and one each of 310, 3325 and 956
- A hand painted 12cm (5″) hoop in a bright coral shade
- Detailed instructions (in PDF format), including step-by-step photos of satin stitch and how to stitch the text
- Needle
- Some white perle thread to finish the back of your hoop
- All of this comes in a lovely box for you to gift or keep for yourself. Yay!
Postage and delivery
These Brighter Days Are Coming kits are ready to post within 1-3 business days.
The PDF booklet will be emailed to you via We Transfer when your kit is dispatched. You will receive a link to download the booklet, which is valid for 3 months. Please ensure that the correct email address is provided at checkout.
It will be sent 1st class standard delivery in the UK (unless purchased with a stitched item, in which case it will be sent 2nd class signed for with additional items).
International post is now available! Please note that there may be additional customs costs at point of entry into the destination country, for which the customer is responsible (as stated in my Ts and Cs).
