1-2-1 online hand embroidery lesson
This online workshop is perfect for anyone who wants to learn embroidery, but can’t make it to one of my in-person workshops.
Give the gift of creativity or treat yourself to a 1-2-1 online hand embroidery lesson with me, Clare Albans, from Hello! Hooray!. I absolutely love teaching workshops and I can’t wait to stitch with you and share the joy of hand embroidery. It’s a beautiful, slow craft, and I know you’ll enjoy taking some time out to be creative.
What will I learn?
Each 1-2-1 hand embroidery lesson lasts for 2 hours, and is delivered via Zoom or Google Meet. You can choose a project from the selection below, and you’ll receive all of the materials that you need to stitch your chosen design in the post. UK postage is also included!
I’ll send you an email after purchase so that we can arrange a time and date in advance. In the session, we’ll spend time learning stitches and techniques required for your chosen project, and then we’ll spend some time stitching together. You may finish some or all of the project during the lesson, it doesn’t matter either way. Hand embroidery is a beautiful, slow craft and you can finish later if needed.
What is included?
If you choose to receive materials in the post, this includes:
- A 6″ beech wood embroidery hoop
- Pre-printed cotton fabric
- DMC thread
- Needle
- Printed stitch guide
- Full instructions (with step-by-step photos) in PDF format for you to refer to after the lesson
- All presented in
- UK orders include free postage too!
All you need in addition to the materials sent out to you is a pair of scissors for the session, and a cuppa as well.

This listing is for one 1-2-1 online hand embroidery lesson, which comes with the materials. If you’d like to come with a friend that’s fine – simply purchase 2 places.
Materials will be posted out within 1-3 business days from date of purchase.
All online lessons must be arranged within 12 months from date of purchase (if you’re giving this as a gift let me know, as it can be 12 months from date of the occasion). Please make sure that the correct email address is provided at checkout.
Lessons can be cancelled or rearranged up to 7 days prior to the arranged date and time. We regret that cancellations made after 7 days prior to the lesson cannot be rearranged or refunded, as outlined in the Terms and Conditions. Please read these carefully before purchase.
