1-2-1 online hand embroidery lesson

Description

I’m really excited to be offering 1-2-1 online hand embroidery lessons from my new studio – they were so popular in my Kickstarter campaign that I’ve decided to bring them back! This is a great option if you’d rather have a session on your own but can’t make it to my studio in person.

What will I learn?

Each 1-2-1 hand embroidery lesson lasts for 1 hour 30 minutes. You can choose a project from the selection below (please let me know which project you’d like to stitch in the ‘Order notes’ section at checkout). If you are outside the UK or would like to have a session without receiving the materials, select the relevant option below – I will email the pattern booklet to you so that you can source your own materials in advance of the session. You can also purchase materials as well if you prefer.

The session will be delivered via Zoom or Skype, and I’ll send you an email to arrange a time and date in advance. We’ll spend time learning stitches and techniques required for the specific project, and then we’ll spend some time stitching together. You may finish some or all of the project during the lesson, it doesn’t matter either way. Hand embroidery is a beautiful, slow craft and you can finish later if needed.

What is included?

If you choose to receive materials in the post, this generally includes:

• A hand painted beech wood embroidery hoop
• Pre-printed cotton fabric (or fabric plus a transfer pen)
• DMC thread
• Needle
• Pattern and full instructions (with step-by-step photos) for you to refer to after the lesson.

You will need a pair of scissors for the session, and a cuppa as well!

This listing is for one 1-2-1 online lesson. If you’d like to come with a friend that’s fine – simply purchase 2 places.
