1-2-1 hand embroidery basics online workshop

Description

I’m really excited to be offering workshops again, and my 1-2-1 hand embroidery basics online workshop is a fantastic introduction to embroidery! Hand embroidery is a beautiful, slow craft that’s really great for being mindful and finding calm. In this workshop I’ll teach you some of the basic stitches that you need to get started, and we can have a good chat while we stitch!

What will I learn?

Each online workshop lasts for 1 hour 30 minutes. We’ll cover 8 basic stitches: straight stitch, backstitch, satin stitch, link stitch (and lazy daisy), French knot, fern stitch, chain stitch and fly stitch. There will be plenty of time to learn these stitches together, and if there’s any time left at the end we can recap or learn a couple of extra ones – it’s up to you!

Before the session, I will email you a simple pattern that you can draw or trace onto some fabric before the workshop.

The session will be delivered via Zoom, and I’ll send you an email after purchase so that we can arrange a time and date in advance
