Well, I hope your move up today goes smoothly and that some time in Newcastle will reinvigorate your crafting! 🙂 It’s a really long way to move – but it will be worth it as Newcastle is such an amazing place and the people are so friendly. You’ll definitely meet some great crafty people here too! Let me know if you need any more advice about life in the Toon!

By the way, on the teapot front I’m totally with you – one is never enough! Hope yours are packed somewhere where you can find them easily for a nice cuppa when you get here!

We’re nearly sorted, all the big stuff has gone up and my boyfriend has spent most of the week moaning about how much stuff I have and why I just can’t seem to throw anything away. Everybody needs 3 teapots right? He was particularly angry when he had to carry all my poorly packed boxes up 3 flights of stairs into our new flat while I’ve stayed down in Peterborough to work and tidy up our old flat. I personally think its his fault for insisting on moving into our new place on a week day when most normal people are working and don’t have time to move house and have refused to take any time of work to teach him a lesson. Wow, I do really ramble quite a lot. It’ll probably be me being taught a lesson when I get there on Friday night and half my stuff has disappeared.

Anyway, thank you so much for your advice on the craft fairs, I’ll definitely make sure I check them out. I’ve been struggling for inspiration lately and haven’t really been making much at all, but now we’ve moved a d all that is out of the way I’m definitely planning to get making again soon and a few little trips to some craft fairs will definitely help.

Hello Corrie! How did your move go?! Sorry I’ve taken a while to reply – I’ve been on holiday on Tiree and there’s not a lot of signal up there! When you’re all unpacked you should check out the weekend markets at Tynemouth metro station as they’re fab 🙂 The Grainger Market in town also holds craft markets every other week (I think) and there’s a local online magazine called Daisy Green which hosts craft fairs round and about. Are you hoping to get involved in fairs etc up here?
