When I told my Mum what happened she said “that’s how your Dad’s Mum lost her eye!” which freaked me out a bit, so I think I got off lightly…

Loving the hits of purple and yellow together. We’re a month away from any gardening so it’s nice to have a spot to wander thru, even if it is virtual. I’m glad that I’ve inspired you to do the same – it was very theraputic despite the incident (I’m glad to hear that I’m not the only clumsy person in the garden though!). Tom feels bad about the whole thing because he left the rake propped up against the wall…oops!The covers are from Haxnicks and we bought the complete raised bed system with the micromesh covers (my Mum and Dad recommended them – the micromesh ones are sturdier than the polythene ones apparently). Do you grow lots of veg too?

You’ve done so much work! The covers for your veggie plots are a great idea – I’ll be searching for those at our local hardware shop! Hope your face feels better – I’m forever tripping backwards over rocks etc. in the garden – perhaps we are so “in the moment” when gardening that our “caution sensors” aren’t as sharp as usual!!
