I’m very excited to feature a guest blogger today, with a really delicious recipe! My Mum’s friend Martha (age 7 – nearly 8 🙂 ) loves to bake, and she sent me this recipe to try out. I have heard that she is a big fan of Hello! Hooray! and loved seeing my feature in Craftseller magazine (click here if you missed that) so I know that she’ll be very happy to see her recipe here too. Read More
It’s a lovely Bank Holiday weekend this weekend, which calls for cake! This lovely raspberry and blueberry lime drizzle cake is really fruity, and the combination works really well. Make it in a small square tin and it will be perfect for a picnic. Let’s just keep our fingers crossed for good weather! Read More
I can’t really remember where this flapjack recipe came from, but we’ve been making it for years and have passed it on to so many people! It feels like ages since my last post – and it also feels good to be back! 🙂 I thought that I’d share this amazing recipe for Malteaser tiffin with you first. I’m a big fan of tiffin, and this version is extra chocolatey! I changed the original recipe slightly by using 70% dark chocolate for the topping instead of milk chocolate – I’m really pleased that I did, because the combination works really well. And it looks pretty with the white chocolate stars that I added too!
