Craster Harbour | Hello! Hooray!
A day out in Craster
We’ve had the week off this week for reading week (or half term, if you teach in a school!) and it has been lovely to have a few days at home. Last week was completely manic with the busiest week of the year in the day job, combined with playing in a show every night, but we survived and have been able to get some rest this week. Phew! 🙂 A lot of sorting out has been done (see my post on decluttering – it has begun!) and I finished my dress for the Simplicity Blogger Challenge too. We also had a day out in Craster in Northumberland – it’s a beautiful seaside village with a few quaint shops, a lovely little harbour and a great restaurant. Perfect for a day trip!  Read More

Scarborough October 2014 | Hello! Hooray!
Scarborough fun
We had such a lovely time staying at Ox Pasture Hall last week (click here to see my post). After checking out we had a little bit of time before we caught the train back to York, which meant that we could have a little potter around. It was quite a foggy, dull day but we decided to go up to the Castle to see what we could see. Although it looks a little gloomy, it did actually clear up a little bit whilst we were there!  Read More

Ox Pasture Hall | Hello! Hooray!
Ox Pasture Hall
A little while back I was contacted by Ox Pasture Hall and was invited to stay and review the hotel. Naturally, I jumped at the chance and this week we went down to stay! Ox Pasture Hall is a luxury hotel located just inside the North York Moors National Park, a couple of miles outside Scarborough. So it’s a great place to stay if you want to go to somewhere to relax for the weekend, either by the sea or in the countryside. The hotel is set in beautiful grounds and it would be a brilliant location for a wedding too (more on that later!). Read More
