Catching up…

I’m getting back into the swing of things with my blog now it’s up and running – I really hope you like my new site! 🙂 It feels like I’ve been away for ages, so today I’m spending a bit of time planning posts and generally working out where I’m up to! There are a few things that have happened whilst I’ve been away, so I thought I’d put a few of them together in this post and tell you about things that are coming up… Read More

Project Life: August 2014

I started on working on my first Project Life album last month, and I’ve been so excited to share it with you! It’s one of those things that I knew I’d enjoy, but I didn’t realise just how much – it’s just fab! It’s been really good to think about the things I’ve enjoyed doing and the things I want to include in my album. I really enjoyed doing my 100 Happy Days challenge earlier in the year, and this is another way of documenting all the fun things we’ve been up to! Read More

10 years in Newcastle

September 11th is a date that we all remember, but for me it has other connections too. It’s my Dad’s birthday (Happy Birthday, Dad!) and it is also the date I moved up to Newcastle from my hometown, York. And that was 10 years ago! I can hardly believe it really, as it doesn’t seem like that long. I moved up here to study for my Music degree, and loved it so much that I stayed. We made our home here and so much has happened during that time – I’m so glad I came! Read More

Welcome to Hello! Hooray!

I’m so excited that my new site is now up and running! Welcome to my new-look blog with a brand new name too: Hello! Hooray! There are several reasons why I decided to have a little update – let’s talk about the name first. When I started blogging a couple of years ago, it was just for fun. I came up with the name and set up my wordpress blog, and I never thought it would become such a big part of my life. I also didn’t realise that someone else had the same name as me (but with a different URL), or that I really should have checked that out a bit more! Two years later and I’ve realised that this is one of my passions and I’d love to make a living out of it (if that’s possible). So switching my blog over and having my own unique name was a must. I wanted something shorter (!!) and less specific – and the fact that I went part time in my day job last year to focus on this meant that my old blog name just didn’t make sense anymore!

Although the look and name have changed, I’ll still be blogging about things that I love to make and do. I’m also looking to have guest blog posts by other bloggers too, so there is lots to look forward to! I hope you like my new blog – I’d love to hear what you think!
